Three lotuses represent three stages of faith, from birth to its demise. The first lotus represents the layers of faith one holds that shapes their being – one that can act as hope (represented by the light) and a coping mechanism that shines through in times of darkness.
Layers of faith quotes increasingly personal beliefs as they reach the inner core of the flower, and it is lockable with a flexible exterior to reflect the responsive and receptive nature of faith. The second lotus is the culmination of dangerous faith, leading to indoctrination conveyed by the inaccessible, stiff petals surrounded by the self-justifying, deranged text. The third lotus illustrates extinguished faith with hope smothered, ash scattered, and petals tattered.
